We had a very successful Conker Competition in October 2012 on the Lower Byfield Green. It was really well supported by the locals and we successfully raised £275 for charity. The photographs I have are of young and old alike playing conkers, with referees dressed up in union flag attire. Gerald Gould was the President on the day and prizes were awarded to the winner and certificates given out to all who entered.
