The busiest times of the week for these sites are the weekend and bank holidays. The quietest day of the week is consistently a Wednesday. As a result of this, all sites will be closed on a Wednesday.

Councillor Matthew Hicks, Cabinet Member for Environment and Public Protection at Suffolk County Council, said: “Feedback received from Recycling Centre users across Suffolk told us that people wanted to see the sites open for longer during the busiest periods. So since June 2016, all Household Waste Recycling Centres will be open for longer on Sundays, Bank Holidays and later on Thursday evenings during the summer months.”

You can recycle a wide range of materials at the Recycling Centres; further details can be found here www.suffolkrecycling.org.uk
