Annual Meeting Schedule

The Council meets every two months in the Committee room in the Village Hall with additional meetings being held following notification.

Each meeting commences promptly at 7.30pm in the Committee room of the Village Hall unless otherwise informed.

The next Parish Council meeting is at 7.30pm on Monday 22nd September at the Village Hall, Church Hill, Monks Eleigh

All are welcome to attend to attend

  • Monday 27th January
  • Monday 24th March 
  • Monday 28th April - Annual Parish Meeting 
  • Monday 19th May - Annual Parish Council Meeting
  • Monday 28th July 
  • Monday 22nd September 
  • Monday 24th November 

Members of the public are invited to attend each meeting and time is set aside for a public forum. Notice of all meetings and agendas are placed on the Parish Notice Boards situated:

  • Outside The Community Shop, The Street.
  • The Green at the bottom of Swingleton Hill.

The Annual Parish Meeting is held in March and the Annual Parish Council Meeting (at which the Chairman and Vice-Chairman are elected for the following year) in May.

District Councillor Bryn Hurren and Suffolk County Councillor Robert Lindsay attend meetings regularly keeping the Parish Councillors informed at both District and County level.
